This paper examines and introduces the South Korean government’s policies for Chinese people of Korean ethnicity. The paper shall review the history how the Korean government has changed the policies in accordance with economic conditions, and discuss on the effect of the policies to attract Korean-Chinese into certain sectors in the Korean labor market.
